Whether you have heard about the launch of Affiliate Project X or not, I’m guessing you are hoping to find out if this product can really make you money, or if it is a scam, yesterdays news, the same old same old, etc. Not too much to ask really.

I get annoyed reading so called reviews of affiliate and internet marketing products. You never know if the person behind them is being sincere or even hiding behind a pseudonym. Therefore, I decided that in writing my review of Affiliate ProjectX, I’d include my real name, business details (and photo!). That way you can track me down if you want to abuse me, and be sure I’m not just some obscure testimonial from “never heard of it” USA. To anyone reading this from nowhere USA, no offence intended (smile)!

For the record I'm not an affiliate guru. My background is in marketing and copywriting for major e-commerce and bricks n' mortar brands. I am a relatively new affiliate marketing wannabe, but like many others, I've been interested for long enough to have suffered my share of burns, confusion, and frustrations on the rocky journey to seeking the simple truth about making money online.

I was the guy who subscribed to marketing and affiliate "guru" newsletters just to get hold the free tips bonus e-book. I am still the guy who is sceptical about "get rich quick" deals, but who every now and again, succumbs to the "what if?" sound whispering from my sub-conscious - but only ever after a few days searching for a real review of the product.

I am also the guy who took a long time to get it through his thick skull that most of these guru's are protecting their territory, rehashing and padding out new e-books with the same old information they have used before or found elsewhere. But I really can't blame them - sounds like great work if you can get it.

Anyway, despite my waning enthusiasm and growing scepticism for the whole thing, I purchased Affiliate Project X and was very relieving to discover that this product is, in fact, excellent value and really does show the confused and frustrated how to make money in affiliate marketing.

While Affiliate Project X is a great tool for both newbies and those with experience, it does require a very basic understanding of affiliate marketing. I guess the perfect candidates are people like me - those who have been doing a bit of research, gathering information here and there, buying a few products, but itching for someone to come along and explain it all in plain English so we can really get stuck in.

To give you a bit of an idea of what to expect, this is a detailed guidebook of affiliate tactics that super affiliates and a few others know about (or did until now). Chris, the English guy behind the project, has put together a really clear step-by-step guide to understanding and implementing each of the six strategies.

At the risk of sounding like a marketing nerd, I was so excited to finally buy something that offered real value and insider secrets, I couldn't stop reading it. I actually finished the whole thing in two hours, while I was supposed to be doing a job for a client. The style is easy to read and, while Chris obviously isn't doing this just because he's a nice guy, he seems a lot more concerned with helping you understand each step than those hard sell marketing guys I've purchased from in the past.

The tactics themselves include the wonderfully named Leech, which shows you how to profit from the most popular info-products on the market. Another is The Workhorse method, which I've been using and am very happy to say, is starting to develop into a nice little income stream.
One of the really unorthodox tactics is "Copy the Best 2" method, which teaches you how to make money by only promoting the highest converting keywords, and also how not to lose money on clicks. Don't worry if Adwords scares you, or sounds too hard. Only some methods in the book involve Adwords to generate traffic, and even then, they are only part of the process. There are alternative methods outlined in the Workhorse and Advanced Tricks sections. But trust me, if I can understand Adwords now, anybody can.

One of the other things that has always frustrated me about affiliate marketing, and prevented me from getting too involved, was an inability to get my head around Clickbank, or should I say, knowing how to find something amongst the tens of thousands of products that will actually sell. I even tried contacting a couple self-proclaimed Clickbank gurus who I had purchased from, only to be told I should upgrade to their megabucks personal coaching program for the answer. Personally, the Clickbank information is one of the highlights of Affiliate Project X. Finally, someone willing to show me the step-by-step method to making real money from Clickbank!
So the big question is, will Affiliate Project X make you rich? To be honest, I don't know yet.

What I can tell you is that this is unlike any of the "all talk no substance" products I've purchased in the past. It's 50 pages of brand new, very detailed, yet easy to absorb information, rather than 200 pages of regurgitated fat that's been thrown around for the past two years. If you follow the simple steps there is no reason why you can't make some decent extra income at the very least. After all, I am starting to see it build already, and it's only been a few days.
I've made a commitment to give the Affiliate Project X methods a real go, instead of throwing it in my dusty, bulging "affiliate and internet marketing ideas" file. In addition, I've picked up some excellent marketing ideas for my business clients. If a time comes when I can put a photo of my cheesy mansion and ostentatious yacht on my website, you'll be the first to know!
In the meantime, if you're looking to get into affiliate and internet marketing, or increase your affiliate sales, I seriously recommend the Affiliate Project X product.

I hope this helps relieve some of the frustrations of my fellow affiliate marketing wannabes.
